A message from the Bath BID

The Christmas Market is in full swing, the city welcomed over 200 coaches on the first weekend alone. We continue to work closely with our partners at Visit Bath to ensure that people discover and enjoy all that the city has to offer whilst they are here.

We are excited to present a brand-new celebration this year which will showcase the heritage of Northumberland Place, and The Corridor. The Dickensian Christmas events will keep the magic of Christmas alive for the city after the market has gone. This is an event for all ages on the three Thursdays (7th, 14th and 21st) in December. Take a walk through Union Passage to see the Luxury Hamper that you can win, its worth over £700!

Last Friday the city welcomed the Purple Flag Assessors and showed them the fantastic work that supports Bath's Evening & Night-time Economy. We have received some great feedback to-date and await the results from the assessment early in the new year.

The BID Rangers will continue their fantastic work in the city responding to cleaning requests, monitoring the Chalets and providing information as coach parties arrive during the 23 November - 10 December period. Do look out for our friendly team with their BID jackets on.

Keeping the magic of Christmas alive for the city after the market has gone, an event for all ages on the three Thursdays (7th, 14th, 21st) in December.

Country Living Festival – Special Bath Businesses rates for exhibiting

Fantastic Discount for Bath BID Businesses to get involved.

At its heart will be a celebration of small rural businesses, talented crafts people, artisans and designers. Bath will become a hub of creativity and rural inspiration with residents and visitors enjoying curated shopping, pop-up workshops, business events, supper clubs, celebrity talks, music, entertainment and an abundance of children’s activities.

Producers, makers and designers from the West Country and beyond will be showcased in artisan markets, hands-on workshops and shopping events.

Seventeen Events announced for The Bath Festival 2018

Seventeen events have now been announced for The Bath Festivals, which takes place from 11 to 27 May in 2018.

Next year also marks the 70th anniversary of the first ever festival put on by Bath Festivals. The programme will consist of performances in iconic venues and open spaces, creating an electrifying festival atmosphere with increased community engagement and high visibility across the city.
