The movement that began with his posting of the ninety-five theses five hundred years ago reshaped Europe, redirected Christian history and recovered the truth of God’s Word. Join us on December 18 at 7 p.m. in the Fireside Room to see if we can discover just what his legacy is.

Critical Ministry Help Needed at The Hub
Over the past few months many of you have heard us referring to “The Hub” which is, Lord willing, going to become the central information hub for everything that we do at St. Paul’s.  It will also act as a way for newcomers to find out what is happening at St. Paul’s and receive information specific to their interests.  In addition to this The Hub also plays a critical role in following our Leading with Care policy through the use of the KidCheck system that actively protects our most vulnerable.  We are in desperate need for members of the congregation to step forward and serve the Lord in this critical ministry.  Full training would be provided as well as a flexible schedule.  My prayer is that the Holy Spirit would bring many forward who would be willing to provide care and service to our church through this ministry.  Please don’t assume “someone else will do it” - we really need the help.  If you feel that this is where the Lord is calling you to serve please contact Jeremy Sauvé at jeremy@stpaulspcottawa.com or call the office at 613 729 3384

Christmas Boxes

As we did last year, we are providing Christmas boxes for some of the residents of the Pinecrest Terrace Community. There are three different kinds of boxes we want to provide:

  • Christmas Decorations Box: tablecloths, candles, napkins, CDs, etc.
  • Women’s Box: bath items, soaps, gloves, scarf, etc.
  • Children’s Box: small items to fill a stocking (school supplies, small games, markers, toothbrush/paste), Christmas candy, books, etc.

Please use a shoe box or sturdy gift bag and return them to the church by Thursday, December 14th. If you are wrapping the box, please wrap the box and lid individually, so they can be opened and closed without damage. This is a great way we as a church can serve our immediate community during this time of the year. We appreciate all your contributions.

Christmas Boxes & Potluck -
Date Change: Sunday, December 10 at 4 p.m.

Join us at the church and be a blessing by helping pack Christmas gift boxes for those less fortunate in our community.  Afterwards we'll enjoy some games, Christmas carols and a potluck dinner!

Coming Soon: Knitting LifeGroup

In January 2018 St. Paul’s will be starting a new Knitting LifeGroup. This group will be for anyone interested in gathering together for knitting (from beginning to advanced - young or old) and enjoy getting to know one another. More details on days and times will come soon but in preparation for this LifeGroup we are looking for spare wool, patterns and/or needles that people may have. Any donations can be dropped off at the office and placed in the box marked “Knitting LifeGroup”. We will be collecting supplies over the next six weeks. Questions? Please contact Jeremy Sauvé

St. Paul's is pleased to be able to provide space for a number of recovery groups that meet each week.
