the sometimes weekly

Saturday, December 16...

  • We need help at 11 AM to move the downstairs piano up the stairs. This is a new time since it was originally scheduled to be at 10 AM. Please make note of the change, and let the office know if you will be able to help. There should be a bribe for something like this, and there is! Coveted cookies will be provided to those who help.
  • Marsha Greenstreet also needs help serving the dinner for the Greenlee family on Saturday afternoon from 1-4 PM. Please email Marsha if you are able to help.

Sunday, December 17...

  • The children and youth Christmas program, Twas the Night Before Christmas, will be during the morning worship service at 10:30 AM. Fellowship time will follow with many sweet treats and coffee.
  • The Bell Choir and Chancel Choir will present A St. Andrew's Christmas at 6:30 PM on Sunday. Other musical numbers will be included by some of our very talented musicians. We hope you will attend and stay for the fellowship time too.
  • Cookies and treats are still needed for the reception after both programs on Sunday. If you can provide some, please bring them Sunday morning!

Tuesday, December 19...

  • If you are making cookies or treats for A Safe Place, you need to have them to the church no later than Tuesday, November 19th. They will be coming to pick them up, so we want to make sure we have all of them ready for the pick-up.
  • St. Rose of Lima's Advent Concert, featuring St. Rose students and led by Joe Bean, will be in the new St. Rose Hall at 1:30 PM and 6:30 PM. Joe has invited all to attend.

Missing

  • If you have seen a sparkly red tablecloth (8 feet long), please let the church office know. We normally have enough for all the tables in the fellowship hall, but are one short this season.
  • Also missing are two choir stoles. If you've taken one home by mistake or have seen one while decorating at church, please let the office know or hang it on the coat rack in the hallway.

The mission of the Church is to make disciples of Jesus Christ for the transformation of the world. Local churches and extension ministries of the Church provide the most significant arenas through which disciple-making occurs.
