and Happy New Year!

Classes have now all but finished for this year and I will be in touch shortly, if I haven't yet, to let you when you're finished pieces are ready for collection.  I'm trying very hard to get everything through before Christmas break but if there's anything you need definitely before Christmas that I don't know about please let me know.

Classes will start again in the new year the week commencing the 8th January.  The price of the 10 course is going up to £140.  At the moment there are a couple of spaces available on the Thursday evening class 7-9pm if anyone would like to join :) There are also some spaces on the Sunday morning children's classes if anyone has someone who would love to make things in clay!

Other dates for your diary in the new year are the Saturday workshops on 20th January - Geometric, 17th February - Organic & 17th March - Holes.  Each workshop is £80 including materials and firing.

There will be more fused glass workshops with dates confirmed in the new year so please watch out for the details on the Facebook page in January.

Clay Play Day

Thursday 15th February
10:30am-12:30pm and 1:30-3:30pm

£25 per participant

Fabulous holiday fun for children of all ages!  Each 2 hour session gives participants the chance to make their own model or pot in clay.  Inspired by their amazing imaginations children make their creations in stoneware clay which is then fired and finished ready to be collected 2/3 weeks later.

Saturday workshops
20th Jan - Geometric, 17th Feb - Organic & 17th Mar - Holes.
10am - 3pm
£80 inc materials & firing

These full day workshops give you a bit more time to make a large build or a series of smaller pieces in one sitting.  From cute little ornaments to the more challenging figurative sculpture, they give you the chance to learn the basics of hand building in clay or, for the more experienced, to push the clay to its limits.  The are followed 2 or 3 weeks ater with a two hour glazing workshop.
