After spending a month at AVC’s Veterinary Teaching Hospital, a northern saw-whet owl is again flying through the forests of southern PEI. Found on the ground on September 27, the owl was brought to AVC. It did not have any broken bones but could not fly or stand on its own. With dedicated care from the AVC Wildlife Service, the owl recovered and was released in late October.
We wish you and your family
a safe, happy, and peaceful holiday season.
