WAMP Design fair – Give what matters – Third Sunday of Advent

One week before Christmas at 17 December will be the biggest and the last WAMP design fair this year. As always at WAMP you can get personal and meaningful presents to your loved-ones from unique clothes and accessories to creative home decor items, toys or gastro delights.
At the third Sunday of Advent more than 250 designers, exhibitions, workshops and an interactive game will also await for you at WAMP design fair. It is not late yet to get gifts for Christmas, and at WAMP you will surely find the perfect presents for your loved-ones.
The two year old independent designer store, Lucky Shepherd will participate WAMP with the brands of their shop. The store of two acclaimed designers Dóra Juhász and Gabó Szerencsés has recently celebrated its second birthday, for which they have created a colourful photo shoot by Serbian photographer Milica Mrvic on the designer pieces sold in the shop. At WAMP you will find Dóra’s premium leather bags and backpacks both for adults and children and Gabó’s clothes- and bag collections as well as the works of the other designer brands in the store.
The jewellery brand, FANNI'S prepares with a new collection called SATIN for this Christmas. Designer, Fanni Szűcs has gained inspiration from contrasts and optical illusions when creating her new work. The jewels are created with a new approach, and characterized by novel forms and new dimensions. The pieces are made of silver with rhodium- and 14 carat rose and yellow gold plating.
The book called Budapest100 stories – Twenty-four out of Threehundred published by Contemporary Architecture Centre will debut at WAMP too. The book gathers the stories of 24 buildings in Budapest from the first 6 years of the project Budapest100. The guide encompasses a rich photo material with interesting architectural portrayals and private stories that recall the former lives of residents and an already nearly forgotten period.
The fair will host a charity fund-raising organised by the Hungarian Charity Service of the Order of Malta - Temporary Home of Families in Zugló to support deprived families and children living in the home in Zugló. Visitors can support the charity with clothes, home appliances and toys that are in a good condition. The donations can be handed over at the information desk of WAMP during the fair from 10 am till 6 pm.

This time a series of exciting smART!- programs organized by Trafó House of Contemporary Arts and Let it Be art agency will also await for visitors at the first floor of Millenáris. There will be an exhibition from the work of the graduates of Budapest Metropolitan University, a Christmas light string workshop led by the light painting team Fényszórók, and an engaging virtual adventure tour-game. The game is inspired by the geocaching games and organized by director, actor and drama teacher Veronika Szabó and script writer Dániel Daoud. At the exhibition space of WAMP participants of the game will search for the password, with which they can receive the code of the Christmas smART! program discount.
