Welcome to Global Voice
November and December have seen many notable events, such as the International Day for the Elimination of Violence against Women, Human Rights Day and the annual 16 Days of Activism Against Gender-Based Violence campaign. As we move forward with hope and continued determination to better the lives of women and girls, this edition of Global Voice celebrates International Day, and the Soroptimist International President's Appeal 2017-2019 'Women, Water and Leadership'. Bringing you a report from COP23, and the latest news from SI's UN Representatives in 'Your Voice at the UN', we begin by inviting you to watch a very special video message, from SI President, Mariet Verhoef-Cohen.
