We have just one more week of first semester and it is a full one! This Sunday, December 17, Killian Hill Baptist Church is presenting a Christmas cantata entitled Joy Has Dawned. Please accept my personal invitation to you and your family to join us for the cantata (5:00 p.m. in the church auditorium) and the dinner following (in the gym). Also, I hope to see each of you at the KHCS Christmas Concert this Tuesday at 7:00 p.m. I've seen the students rehearsing some of their parts and I can't wait to see the final performance! I know it will fill all of us with Christmas spirit!
I hope each of us is able to spend time together with family during the Christmas holiday. As we do, let's remember Jesus Christ who left His own Heavenly home and came to this earth to give His life for our sins. He is the most unfathomable Christmas gift ever! I pray that each of our students, parents, and friends can enjoy this special time of year because of a relationship with the Savior, Jesus Christ. If you would like to know more about God's amazing gift of salvation, I would love to talk with you!
I want to mention one more time that the deadline for signing up to direct your annual Georgia tax dollars into scholarships for Killian Hill students is December 27! If you pay Georgia tax at all, either as an individual or as a business owner, you are eligible to use that money for student scholarships right here on the Hill! Please let us know if you are interested and we'll walk you through the process!

Christmas concert practice - so much hard work!

Grades K4-12th
Monday through Thursday - Students may wear crazy Christmas socks with their school uniforms.
Thursday - Students may wear Christmas colored shirts and sweaters with their school uniform pants/skirts.
Grades 7-12 Exams
Tuesday - First, Seventh, and Fifth Hour Exams
Wednesday - Second and Sixth Hour Exams
Thursday - Third, and Fourth Hour Exams
Grades K4-12 will be dismissed at 12:30 p.m.
on both Wednesday and Thursday.
Christmas Around the World is the theme for this year's Christmas program presented by our own Killian Hill Christian School elementary students (K4 - 6th grades), and our secondary school choirs, band, and orchestra (7th - 12th grades). This event will take place in the gymnasium of building D on December 19, at 7:00 p.m. Please mark this date on your calendar. We don't want you to miss this beautiful program that our fine arts department and your children are working excitedly to produce.
If your child is missing anything, please remind them to check lost and found for the missing items. There are lost and found tables located outside of the elementary and secondary school offices.

Dress Expectations for the Christmas Program: Girls - Christmas dresses (at least to the knee) or Christmas skirts and tops, tights or socks, and dress shoes Boys - Dress shirts and ties, dress pants, dark socks, and dress shoes (no tennis shoes)
December 20-21 Early dismissal at 12:30 p.m. Please Note: The lunchroom is closedon early dismissal days, so children in grades K4 - 2nd grade should bring a small lunch or snack from home to eat in their classrooms. There is no aftercare on early dismissal days.
