We're rolling up our sleeves and building the dream!

In our last newsletter we announced that we'd found our home and signed a lease.  That was back in July (and for those of you who've subscribed since then I've added that newsletter text below).  We've since closed escrow and the place is official ours.  The surprise for some may have been spoiled by early reporting, but we're happy to reveal that the address is 3215 Mission St. (next to Taqueria Cancun; where Valencia and Mission meet).

We're still aiming for opening in Spring of next year.  We've got some sprucing up to do that revolves around multiple schedules so we can’t confirm a specific date.  Everything we'd announced in the last newsletter still stands; fun, inviting atmosphere; beer & wine; 9 pinball machines; Hawaiian-inspired eats.  We've got a great team of dedicated folks working on the project to help us realize these parameters and we're very excited about what's been bubbling up.  Can't wait to share more!  We'll probably send our next update in early Spring.

For those of you on Instagram we've got a feed we've been posting to: @outerorbitsf  Enjoy!

Best,
Christian & Elisabeth

Our Previous Newsletter:
We Did It!

For all of you who've been following the trials and tribulations of us trying to get our little pinball spot off the ground, we are delighted to announce that we've found a location and signed a lease!  We tried mightily to open a place on Cortland ave, but we fished through all the prospects and instead found our oasis on Mission Street (where it meets Valencia), so we will still be able to serve the families of Bernal Heights.

We expect to open in early spring after doing some light renovation.  Our plan is to have nine machines ranging from vintage (EM, for those in the know) all the way to brand new games, while providing a fun and inviting atmosphere to match the pins.  In the evenings when the kids have settled off to La La Land, we'll have plenty of beers and wines to keep the evening exciting.  And the big reveal: Hawaiian-inspired eats!  I grew up in Hawaii and have been dreaming of bringing well-executed novel touches of Hawaiiana to accessible dining.
