APAF Diwali Luncheon Fundraiser for LRSEF

On October 19, 2017 the Asian Pacific American Forum (APAF) volunteer support group at GE Appliances, a Haier Company hosted a festive DIWALI luncheon fundraiser for LRSEF.  Delicious specialty foods were served; musical entertainment and door prizes were enjoyed by over 300 guests.  The event was held at GE Monogram Hall and almost $3,000 was raised to be donated to LRSEF for STEM activities in 2018.  Thanks APAF!

New Grant from ZEON!

LRSEF is honored to announce a $3,000 grant for the 2018 fair from ZEON!  The team at ZEON has been sponsors of the science and engineering fair for over 10 years and the company continues to increase their support of STEM excellence each year.  ZEON employees also volunteer as judges each year at LRSEF, we appreciate this critical support.

Grateful for
GIVE FOR GOOD!

On September 14, during the Louisville Community Foundation GIVE FOR GOOD day, LRSEF had great support from 78 donors giving funds online during this special 24-hours of giving. Because of this number of individual donations, LRSEF qualified for all THREE levels of BONUS dollars from GIVE FOR GOOD!!! This means that LRSEF has $7,731.69 ready to reward KY students & teachers for their STEM projects in 2018.  Thanks to all the folks who opened their wallets and helped us achieve this goal on ONE SINGLE DAY!
