Bergerac has new tables! 
New tabletops by Big Fir Designs are now installed and we love them. They are hand made with Oregon sourced wood by Bijou at Big Fir designs. She makes stunning tables, shelves and cheese boards for restaurant and for private clients. Our new tabes are wider than before with more spaces for sharing starters and deserts! Let us know what you think of our new tables next time you come in for a meal! 

 
2017 in images 

Thanks to all our customers for helping to make Bergerac into what it is today, We had a fantastic year wth highlights that included:


-- working with exciting new suppliers including Clear Creek Distillery, Nicky Farms and Casa Bruno Wines 
-- fun filled private events from graduations to rehearsal wedding dinners 
-- seasonal Prix Fixe events such as Valentines Day, Bastille Day and Mothers Day Brunch 
-- and probably my favourite - the Mushroom dinner we hosted with Rachel at Yellow Elanor!

Here is to 2018! 
Finishing the desserts at our October Mushroom Dinner - Candy cap mushroom creme brûlée with a candied button mushroom and biscuit crumbles 
Bergerac will be open on Tuesday 2nd January from 12 noon. 

We will close for an afternoon break between 2.30pm to 5pm from Tuesday 2nd to Friday 5th January.

Our Year In Pictures 
Thanks to all our customers for supporting Bergerac in 2017. We look forward to an exciting line up in 2018 of dinner events and collaborations. 
Bergerac hosted the Alliance Francais of Portland for a cosy winter dinner in January 2017 
In May this Veggie dish featured a spring vegetable medley with cream sauce, sun-dried tomatoes, herb goat cheese and a poached egg 
Our second annual Bastille Day dinner on July 14th was a festive evening with Classic french dishes to celebrate the French equivalent to July 4th
We used the recipes from a French book from Joris's mother to make homemade Crème de Framboise, Crème de Marionberry and Liquor Jaune this summer 
Employee Appreciation Party to Grand Central Bowling with Joris, Gisella, Michelle, Jason, Sal and Michael in September 
Cassoulet Paired Wine Dinner at Cerulean Winery in the Pearl in November
