Artists gather for official opening of Fleece
Our Official Opening was attended by the five founder members, our guest ribbon cutter Sheila Smith and our member artists.
Thelma Russell, Margaret Chalmers, Louise Curnin, Janet Phillips and Vicky Petrie, came together in August to launch an artist co-operative.
Fleece is a gallery shop in Reeth that not only provides the ideal place to showcase their work but also brings opportunities to likeminded artists.
Founder member Vicky Petrie, said: “We wanted to create a place where artists could not only sell their work directly to customers but also show the real quality of the products being made.”
