It has truly been an award-winning year at Ig Publishing, as three of our titles were selected for awards.
Ron Tanner's Missile Paradise was chosen as a 2017 ALA Notable pick in fiction, while Allen Morris Jones's A Bloom of Bones, received a 2017 Montana Book Award Honorable Mention. And, to cap it all off, Kaitlin Solimine's Empire of Glass was a 2017 Center for Fiction First Novel Prize shortlist selection. Congratulations to Ron, Allen and Kaitlin--it was an honor to publish your books!
Other highlights of 2017 were Warren Read's extraordinary novel set in a small northwestern town, Ash Falls. Our Bookmarked series continued strong, with entries by Charles Holdefer, Steve Yarbrough, Michael J. Seidlinger, Jaime Clarke and David Ryan.
2018 promises to be an equally exciting year for Ig, as we will release new fiction from Dan Sheehan, Andrew Valencia, and Daniel Abbott in the first half of the year, a new Bookmarked title by Brian Evenson, as well as a groundbreaking book on the current situation in the Native American Community, American Apartheid.
