Jeff & Nicky 2017 Christmas Greeting

On behalf of Afrika Wa Yesu, the team and the nation of Mozambique and her people, we celebrate your vision and integrity, your love and encouragement, as we celebrate the birth of the King of Kings. We are grateful for each of you!  THANK YOU!

Leaving His majestic throne of grace, Jesus was sent by His Father and came willingly to fulfill His vision for His creation; that is to make it possible for us to reign with Him for all eternity. He was born a King from heaven who came into an earthly position of poverty.   Yet He was and always will be full of the riches of heaven, bestowing upon anyone in that moment we 'ask' Him into our lives through His forgiveness. The finished work of the cross. At that moment (snap) heaven rejoices, heaven opens and your name is written in the Book of Life registering you for eternity. Have you made your booking? Are you registered? "Tis the season!

We will have been traveling for four months beginning in Australia then to the USA by the time we return to Mozambique the first part of January 2018. All the emails, Facebook posts and messages from team are evidence of just how well everything is going in our absence. We are so proud of everyone as they grow in their level of maturity and responsibilities in our absence. We have visited many friends, spoken to small groups and big groups, eaten and eaten some more, had delicious coffees and even had time to fulfill a Bucket List desire to go to NASCAR in Dallas Texas with close friends. A double blessed fun time! This is one Bucket List item we did not erase. It fell into the 'do over list'.

Our travels have been abundant living to maximum capacity and are hearts are full as we; had an amazing time hosting Rodney and Ellie Hein in our USA home, hosting the Maas Family (Chris and Deborah, Gabriel, Ashira and Mikayla) as their last USA stop to fill in the fun events with inner tubing and ice skating, hosting two of our key Mozambican leaders Pastors Armando & Mariano who shared in churches where we would have shared about the ministry as they attended Resurrection Fellowship's School of Missions. Our family is enjoying freely coming over at any time to make a coffee or a sandwich or just to watch a football game together. At Thanksgiving our table was full of laughter, food, friends and family. Now Christmas is going to be a repeat! Even our grandson from Kansas will be coming with the love of his life. Let the baking begin!

The word 'celebration' has taken on a completely new meaning as we celebrate every moment with those we love, whether friends or family. Time is our greatest resource...use it wisely, forgive quickly and love unconditionally. That's living abundantly, It is not about 'things' but the heart. 'Things' disappear, but the heart remains full.

2018 is going to be a new year! Not one of resolutions, but one of salvations, crusades and healing as we focus on the 'time is now' to bring in the harvest. As we drove through America, we passed fields upon fields white with cotton. Huge bales of cotton the size of a shipping container were prepared for market. If you were to closely examining one cotton head, it wasn't one big ball like that but many separate pieces making one. The multiplication of one plant is many and so it is with the harvest of souls. Many will come from one as His love multiplies from one to the next and the next.

So dear friends and family...we bless you, love you and from our hearts to yours may 2018 be a year of abundance in all you do and in areas of need.
