Celebrating God’s Gift to the World

The reason for hosting Christmas Blvd and the Walk Through Bethlehem is simple. We want the community to experience the birth of Jesus, the Light of the world. We are a church that loves our community.

Over 21,000 people came this year, up from 15,000 last year. 9,194 people heard a fresh and creative presentation of the gospel in the Walk Through Bethlehem, up from 7,001 last year. We went out on faith when we extended the event from three nights to four. It was a huge stretch of volunteers and resources. This may have been the biggest event our church has ever hosted. With your prayers, God empowered us and the community arrived in the tens of thousands.

Thanks to the 600 workers, including 125 actors in the Walk. So many served God each night. So many brought friends, family, neighbors and coworkers. Months of planning and prep work centered on these four nights. It took the entire congregation to make this happen. We all sacrificed! Thanks to all for your time, energy and finances.

This is what Christmas is about, sharing the best story ever told. The community felt warmly welcomed, loved, had so much fun in a safe environment and heard the story of the birth of Jesus.

Christmas Blvd and the Walk Through Bethlehem was an amazing Christmas gift!

Executive Pastor

Christmas Blvd Gratitude

At the reception desk, I have the honor of hearing people's gratitude and praise for the Christmas Blvd experience. One day, the phone rings. I answer, "Good morning. EvFree Fullerton. How may I direct your call?"

"Is Christmas Blvd going on this weekend, as well?" a woman asks with contagious enthusiasm. "I was there last night, and now I want to bring my mother! This is the BEST Christmas event I've ever been to!" ...

OnRamp

Are you new to EvFree and looking for a way to get connected? Do you want to learn a bit more about EvFree before committing to be “all in”? Have you been here longer, attending the worship service, but still want to know more or find a way to connect? OnRamp may be for you! OnRamp is a six-session-long class, being offered on an ongoing, revolving basis to allow you to jump in at any point and is designed to answer the “Who, What, When, Where, Why, and How” of EvFree:
  • Who is here for me at EvFree?
  • What does EvFree believe?
  • When do things happen here?
  • Where can I find things here?
  • Why does all of this matter to me?
  • How can I participate?
These six sessions will also introduce you to people, ministries and opportunities to connect here at EvFree. The class will take place at 11:30am in C212, above The Well, and the first six-week cycle will begin on Sunday, January 7.

If you have questions about OnRamp, would like more information, or to confirm your attendance, email John Schaefer here or Becca Stavert here.

Generosity at Year-End

Each year at EvFree, our congregation is especially generous in their year-end giving. This helps further our church’s ministry into the next calendar year. Thank you so much for your part in that.

Our church steps out in faith ... sending 200 people to Love Europe, Christmas Blvd & A Walk Through Bethlehem, Special Needs, Kids & Youth, Ears to Hear, and so many more ministries.

Be fully in at EvFree with your time, talents and giving. Especially at year end, your financial gifts are needed to fuel ministry. Celebrate the joy of Jesus’ grain market words that “good measure, pressed down, is flowing over ...”

For contributions to be tax-deductible this year, they need to be:
  • Postmarked by December 30

  • Brought to the church upstairs “A” building mail slot by midnight, December 31

  • Made online by midnight, December 31
