Isaiah 9:6 (NIV)
For to us a child is born,
to us a son is given,
and the government will be on his shoulders.
And he will be called
Wonderful Counselor, Mighty God,
Everlasting Father, Prince of Peace.

We know time flies when you are having fun, but who knew that it would go so fast when you are working too. The past couple of months, we have been very blessed to say the least. We have transitioned in to our roles, been blessed to be able to witness three girls get baptized, entertained four teams in three weeks and been able to get closer to the end goal of building a team to manage the ministry we are working with, Prince of Peace.

Lawrence has been a huge success to several missionaries in the past months in helping them repair, diagnose and be safe in their vehicles. The terrain of Guatemala is a rough terrain for vehicles. There are many mountains, dirt roads with wash out holes, more speed bumps than I can count and, in some areas, more traffic than I care to see. All of those items combined create suspension, brake and other damage fairly common. Lawrence has gotten very good at utilizing his automotive repair computer to quickly and successfully diagnose codes and is building a "Mechanic Bible" of good places to get repair parts close to us. Thank you to those who have helped and continue to help Lawrence with this ministry.

Jo has been very busy trying to check, double check and get the financials for the Home up to date. She also filled in with Team Host as needed, ensured that Christmas and New Years celebrations were funded, worked on team building with staff, build relationships with the Girls on property and got very excited when the Transition Program for the recent High School graduates of the Home was launched. Please continue your prayers for the staff at Prince of Peace to be open to the team building and for the girls in the Transitional Program. Moving away from Home is scary no matter how old you are, especially when there are many unknowns.

We are both continuing to listen and follow God's plan for our service. We are aware this was never meant to be an easy road, but it is a rewarding one for us. We are especially grateful to our partners that allow us to be able to move along this road with out much worry. Thank you to everyone and we pray that your Christmas is in the Spirit of Christ and you may be blessed.
Merry Christmas and Happy New Year,
Lawrence, Jo and Jenna Adams
