UKAGP is delighted to welcome Alec Parsons-Smith as our new administrator.
Alec has been studying for his Diploma in Psychotherapeutic Counselling with Metanoia since 2012 (Alec recently passed his viva) and gave up a full-time job earlier this year to focus on his case study and concentrate on his therapy practice.
Alec has a background working as a Communications and Marketing in Law Firms and Chambers in London and besides his MA in Art History, he has a Graduate Diploma in Law, a Legal Practice qualification, and a Professional Diploma in Marketing.
Other than bringing a wealth of relevant admin experience and being technically savvy, Alec is enthusiastic about serving the UKAGP community as administrator and we are certain that Alec will make a positive contribution to our efforts as the Organising Committee, and be a great first point of contact for our community.
Alec, we wish you a warm welcome to the UKAGP community.

'Hello' from Alec.........
I am delighted to be joining UKAGP as the new administrator. As I start in this role, I am extremely grateful to the Organising Committee for making me feel so welcome and to my predecessors for such a supportive handover.
Until recently, I worked in marketing for a number of law firms alongside training in Gestalt therapy at Metanoia. I am currently completing my training and working with clients in private practice.
More than anything, I am excited to have this opportunity to learn about and work with the Gestalt community. I look forward to speaking with many friends and new faces over the coming months and I hope you’ll contact me at admin@ukagp.org.uk with any questions, feedback on this newsletter or just to say hello.
We're currently putting together the January 2018 edition of the UKAGP newsletter, and welcome submissions for inclusion. Advertising in the newsletter is free for all UKAGP members.
If you have an event to promote or article you'd like including, please send your contributions to admin@ukagp.org.uk and publicity@ukagp.org.uk by Friday 23rd December 2017.
One final and important announcement is that a provisional date has been set for the UKAGP 2018 Conference as Saturday 30th June 2018.
The venue, theme and programme will be shared in the coming months, so at this stage please note the date in your calendar.
