Merry Candlenights to you!

Molly Mondays - weekly music stream!

Last week I livestreamed from my YouTube channel for the first time! I played a few songs for my Patrons and YouTube subs, and I'd like to do the same every week, wifi bandwidth permitting! Check in every Monday at my YouTube channel at 1PM Pacific, and windmill slap that Subscribe button so you don't miss any future videos or streams. I'm going to even try streaming on Christmas and New Years, wish me luck (???)

YouTube! It's your personal tube!

Patreon changes

I know that there are no slow news days anymore, so in case you missed it, Patreon announced what proved to be an unpopular change to their fee structure last week and got yelled at by the internet until they backtracked completely on their announcement. It was a real wakeup call for a lot of Patreon users: After 4 years in operation, Patreon can still blindside us all with drastic changes – & in doing so, put both fans' & artists' financial situations in immediate peril.

While I intend to wait out Patreon through these "growing pains," thousands of users across the whole site deleted their patronage pledges last week, signaling a clear loss of trust in Patreon as a platform – which at this juncture I totally understand. So, starting this month I'm also offering exclusive subscription goods through Bandcamp, for one low annual subscription fee (compared to Patreon's monthly fee). Bandcamp has been my preferred digital music store since 2009, and new Bandcamp campers get immediate access to my back catalog. I hope you'll check it out! MollyLewis.Bandcamp.com/backstage

Take me to this camp of bands!

JoCo Cruise

I think I've mentioned in maybe every 5th email I've ever sent to my mailing list that I'm returning to the JoCo Cruise. This year is no exception.

The JoCo Cruise is great, and I am but one cheerful barnacle who refuses to let it sail without me. And I know: cruises aren't for everybody, what with the small spaces inside & the ocean all outside. BUT, the JoCo Cruise is an exception to pretty much everything you know about cruises / conventions / comedy-music festivals. It's great way to pretend for a week that you live in The Axiom from WALL-E, or The Village from The Prisoner, or the Citadel from Mass Effect, or whatever futuristic planned community brings you the most comfort in these trying times – and, cabins are going for dirt cheap right now. Get while the getting is still to be got! JoCoCruise.com

That's all.

Please enjoy The Doubleclicks & I plowing our way through "Satisfied" from Hamilton: An American Musical on last year's JoCo Cruise.
