Noon sittings Tuesday through Thursday

Regular practice schedule this week, with noon sittings on Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday.

The last day of formal practice this year will be next Saturday. The Center will  be closed between Christmas and New Year's day. Regular schedule will resume on Tuesday, January 2nd.

We will use this time to make a thorough cleaning of the Zendo. If you would like to help with this project, please contact the Center.

The Center will be closed between December 24th and January 1st.

If you unquestioningly acknowledge the present moment, and from that point of view cry out to God to save you, it really is going to be useless to you.  The present moment manifest is also the first distance manifest, and that distance manifest is the foundation of the "I am" self.  When the "I am" manifests, simultaneously, the plus activity has become imperfect because he has given away part of himself, and the minus activity, likewise, has become imperfect because she has given away part of herself.  The imperfect minus activity is what we call the future.  That which has imperfect plus, as its content, is the world of the past.  Therefore, according to Buddhism, it is only when the present moment manifests that, simultaneously, past and future manifest.  This is really difficult to understand, so contemplate it carefully.

When perfect love is manifest past, present and future is gone.  No one is there to see the manifestation of perfect love.  If someone comes around saying, " I saw true love," you can know it is a fool.  A gentleman or a lady, those sorts don't go around saying, "I saw true love." In our modern age, with our modern culture, when people say, "I saw true love," they are probably referring to something that they saw in the movies." No one can see true love.  No one can see it.  There is no one there to see it.  You have to contemplate this principle.  Past, present and future totally disappear.  That is the manifestation of the perfect self.
