We are delighted to share with you news of recent visits to Palestine, Syria, Ireland and Morocco as well as plans for January. Peacemaker Projects

Sabeel Witness Visit to Palestine
In November, I assisted Canon Naim Ateek and Omar Haramy with the Sabeel Witness Visit to Palestine. The theme of the tour was ‘Christian Zionism and Colonialism – A Response from Palestinian Christians’. I gave three presentations during the week on the historical roots and political consequences of Christian Zionism as well as a presentation on the biblical relationship between Israel and the Church Seven Biblical Answers. Read more here
Preaching in Casablanca
On a recent visit to Morocco, Canon Medhat Sabry invited me to preach at St John the Evangelist Anglican Church in Casablanca on The Historical Jesus, the Witness of Scripture and Archaeology. View more photos of Casablanca and St John’s Church family.
Peacemaking in the Middle East
I am currently involved in two other sensitive initiatives - one in North Africa and one in Iran for which your prayers are appreciated. We hope to be able to update you in the New Year.

Peacemaker News
Zion's Christian Soldiers
My book, Zion's Christian Soldiers: The Bible Israel and the Church, will soon, God willing, be published in Chinese as well as digitally in English. The book is available in Arabic and Korean. A summary of the book, Seven Biblical Answers, is already available in Chinese and Simplified Chinese
Biblica - International Bible Society
After 25 years as a trustee of Biblica Europe: International Bible Society, I stepped down at the November Board meeting in Belfast. Biblica is the translation sponsor of the New International Version Bible. With over 600 million copies in print and countless digital versions, it is the most trusted modern Bible translation in the world. I am delighted to commend their evangelistic and biblical resources used by many churches and mission agencies, such as Christianity Explored, all over the world.

Permission to Officiate
The Right Revd Tim Dakin, the Bishop of Winchester, has kindly granted me PTO which means that I may serve as a priest in the Diocese as and when clergy need assistance.

Project Video Archive
I have made several short videos during the Sabeel Witness Visit to Palestine. You can access them and other teaching videos here.

Future Projects
In the New Year I have been invited to help launch Christianity Explored in Tanzania as well as return to Rwanda and South Sudan to provide further training for clergy and mission partners.

God willing I will also be lecturing at the Evangelical Theological College of Asia in Singapore, at the Christ at the Checkpoint USA conference in Oklahoma and undertaking a lecture tour of churches and theological colleges in Australia with Sabeel and World Vision.

Look out for the Peacemaker New Year E-news for more information on plans and prayer requests for 2018.

Christmas Appeal

Peacemakers is a faith ministry. By the grace of God, we are entirely dependent on your prayers, advocacy and financial support.

Since the launch in May, over thirty people have generously supported the charity financially through one off gifts or by monthly support. We are also thankful that Peacemakers is one of ten mission partners of Christ Church, Virginia Water.

We praise God that over 60% of the 2018 budget is already pledged leaving about £15,000 to be raised.

Please consider making a donation this Christmas. If you wish to contribute financially, whether a one off or by regular giving, please see here.
