I just can’t believe that it is almost Christmas and the end of 2017.

 I am equally incredulous at the generosity you, our donors, have shown us throughout the year. You donations of clothing, bric a brac, books and furniture have once again meant that our shops have performed brilliantly, and together we have managed to make a real difference in the lives of the rural children at the Goedgedacht Path out of Poverty Rural Youth Centres.

 I would like to take this opportunity on behalf of all of us at Help the Rural Child Charity Shops to say a big heart felt thank you for your wonderful support and encouragement this past year. We wish you and your families many blessings during this Christmas season and for the year to come…And one more thought – don’t forget to call us if you have any goods to donate xxx

Happy Holidays at Mowbray Bookshop 
Our bookshop hosted the Class Outing for the grade 7 students of Floreat Primary School. They enjoyed a wonderful morning of browsing our wide variety of books.

The students of Floreat Primary were served juice and biscuits and were very happy with there purchases at our bookshop.

Dear Donors,

Slowly but surely and with infinite patience we are building a strong, significant and successful network of support to rural children. In the years to come we will see an increasing number of children coming to our Path Out of Poverty (POP)Youth Centres where we are offering thousands of rural children a chance to break out the poverty that has trapped them. We have children that come from farms where their families have lived for a 150 to 200 years. Uneducated and unable to leave because they don’t know where to go. These are the families that you are doing so much to help, helping them to break the bonds of poverty through supporting the programmes that we run at our POP Youth Centres.

Thank you so much to our Help the Rural  Child donors for their support to our charity shops. The proceeds from your donation of goods are a great benefit to our centres, and please support us in the coming year as we still have work to do together.
