Auburn University research and extension will be a central focus of “Spotlight on Agriculture,” an upcoming Alabama Public Television documentary series about the state’s agricultural industry. The series will debut on APT Monday, Feb. 5, at 9 p.m. CST, but the Auburn campus and community are invited to an advance screening of the one-hour program Tuesday, Jan. 30, at 5 p.m. in the Mell Classroom Building, room 2550, on the Auburn campus. The screening is free and open to the public.

The Auburn University Agricultural Alumni Association will pay tribute to five Alabamians who have had a major impact on Alabama agriculture during its 2018 Alabama Agriculture Hall of Honor banquet, Thursday, Feb. 8 at the Auburn Marriott Opelika Hotel and Conference Center.

Students admitted to Auburn University and the College of Agriculture for fall 2018 are invited to explore Ag Hill next month on one of two dates: Feb. 22 or 26. Students will have the opportunity to meet with faculty, talk with students and sit in on a mock class. Parents are also invited to attend. Space is limited, so early registration is encouraged.
