Hospice Professional Header



Lighting the menorah, decorating a Christmas tree, attending an annual parade with family are holiday traditions that bring joy. But the loss of a loved one, even separated by many years from the present might still transform the holiday season into a period of sadness. Hospice professionals are not unfamiliar with seasonal depression, especially when related to grief, and understand that these emotions might not be easy to discuss during the holiday season. However, conflicting emotions during the holiday season might not be a subject that is easily discussed outside of hospice. Several of Florida's hospice providers offer steps to process holiday grief.

Here are a few resources from hospices across the state of Florida, that might help when addressing grief-related depression:
