Science and Open PHACTS

Dear <<First Name>>,

Open PHACTS Version 2.2 - data refresh early 2018
We’re delighted to share with you some significant progress on version 2.2 of the Open PHACTS platform. Working together with our strategic partners Data2Discovery, we’ve been engaged in significant work to refresh the underlying Open PHACTS infrastructure, and the Open PHACTS core data services including ChEMBL 23.

We’ll be making all of this available early in 2018, so please watch this space for announcements. If you’d like early access for testing please contact us.

Open PHACTS Version 3.0
We’re also delighted to announce that work on version 3.0 of the Open PHACTS platform is also underway through close collaboration with our strategic partner Data2Discovery, and OPF member Lilly. V3.0 will explore graph technologies to serve OPF data in new ways, as well as laying the groundwork for how OPF services can serve as a foundation for Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning approaches.

Webinar - 18 Dec Refreshing data in complex drug discovery infrastructure
We have a webinar (details here) which is a panel discussion on the challenges of refreshing data in complex drug discovery infrastructure. Hear from Leaders in PubChem and WikiPathways.

Please join us to hear more. This webinar is part of our contribution to the BigDataEurope H2020 project which draws to close at the end of the year.

OPF Symposium - March 2018 - hold the date
We will also be holding a symposium at Lilly’s UK site towards the end of March. This will bring together many of the Open PHACTS stakeholders for focused discussions on new data sources and workflows for Open PHACTS & wider integration which will set the scene for availability of Version 3 of the OPF platform.

Again, we’ll be announcing more about this in due course.

Please do contact us if you would like any more information on any of these points. It will be great to welcome many of our old friends, members and associates to our new refreshed and improved services in 2018.

Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year,
