We met Ricky Xu while we had our store in Idyllwild, CA, and Ricky was going to the Idyllwild Arts Academy. Ricky became inspired by Dylan's Sage Blades knives and razors and soon started forging his own knives. He would come by our store to show us his progress. Illustration painted by Violeta Villacorta in the traditional way of the Yanesha people’s drawing technique for textiles and wood. Painted in the Yanesha community, Peruvian Amazon. The Yanesha artisans made the black dye from bark and leaves they gathered deep in the jungle.
