Merry Christmas from 245 Freedom Christian School students!  On December 12th, we had our fourth-ever Christmas program which involved not only singing, but our first-ever drama.  It was a night for parents to  converse with teachers and staff, watch their students perform, and hear the precious gospel story.  Pray that parents are still, even now, thinking about their need for a Savior!
I (Josh) have moved into more of a maintenance role, and away from some of the new construction that is always going on, but that doesn't mean I gets any less dirty!  And, as always, one of the things I enjoys most is the encouragement that comes when friends come to visit and join in on the ministry first hand.  If you would like to visit the our Freedom campus click here for information on taking a trip!
Toni continues to be impressed with the way God is accomplishing His purposes through the school.  He has brought on fantastic school staff this year.  A new vice principal, an intern director, a Bible teacher, a new second grade, fourth grade, and PK3 lead teacher.  And Clemencia (pictured at right) who ensures our compliance with the department of education.  It's been amazing to watch them grow! Toni continues to invest in teachers, knowing that the students, when fully grown, will be like their teachers (Luke 6:40),
In August 2017, Kinsey graduated from Word of Life Bible Institute after completing a summer-long mission trip in Bermuda.  One week after graduation, Josh helped her move from New York to Virginia, where she started at Liberty University, studying education.  We praise God for her first job  at the Boys and Girls Club, and for His provision of a summer job that will be at WinShape Camp in Georgia!

Elle's love for kiddos is so evident as she continues assisting in the preschool classrooms!  She lights up the minute that she is around them!  She will graduate from Liberty Online Academy this May, and then she'll attend college in the States after that. She hasn't decided where yet, so you can join us in praying for wisdom.

Yes, that's right, here's a picture of Gabe helping out with chapel!  Every Friday, Gabe helps Abby and the chapel staff sing, dance, and act out Bible teachings and stories.  He has a lot of fun helping in this way, and you can tell.  His dance moves are spot on!  He continues in his online classes through Liberty Online Academy where he's a freshman.
As another year comes to a end, and we personally close in on seven years on the mission field, we want to express a heartfelt thank you!  God has certainly been faithful in providing for us and He has used you in that process!  Financially, we have always had a strong giving base and have never experienced a shortfall.  Currently, our finances are still in decent shape, however, our pledged support has dropped to 87%.  Just to be clear, this does not mean we are living off of 87% of what we need.  With one-time gifts and savings, we operate at 100%, so again, we are not experiencing any hardship.  Having said that, we would like to see our pledged support be in the 90% range.  If you would like to help with this click here to become a financial partner or to give a year end gift.
Thank you and have a blessed New Year!!
