The Gibsons in Uganda

Our Christmas Update

"All this took place to fulfill what the Lord had said through the prophet: “The virgin will conceive and give birth to a son, and they will call him Immanuel” (which means “God with us”)."
Matthew 1:22-23

On behalf of ourselves and the people we serve in our ministries here in Uganda, we would like to wish you all a very Merry Christmas and say Thank you! for your prayerful and financial support.

Another Christmas in Uganda!

This Christmas we thought we would share a glimpse at our lives as we live and serve in Kampala, Uganda. We are always sorry not to be nearer to friends and family this season. But we are grateful for what God has done for us all here, for our children and for us both in our individual ministries. Here are some photographs of what we have been up to here in the last couple of weeks.

Teaching and Fixing up animals

My teaching schedule at the University has been full this term as well as helping the USPCA with some challenging cases- a dog with a badly broken leg and a cat with burns on all four feet. Happily, all are doing well now!

Football, Football Football!!!

Ruby was part of the Under 13 girls football team this term and the teams play in a league against other schools. The delighted faces above show her team after they had won the league final!

The school also held an inter-house football tournament. Florence's house won the trophy for the juniors.
