One Boy + One Goal + You = Success (plus a Death Star)
As you know, Dean set his goal for 2017 to raise $90k as he participated in his first CF Climb for Life, a stair climb up a building in Chicago. He did an amazing job climbing over 1,200 steps in November and you all did absolutely amazing helping him reach his fundraising goal. We still look at each other and say how? How did this happen? And all we can say is: thank you God and thank YOU for your help raising over $92,000 this year! Growing up around legos, Dean started to build at a young age and always had his eye on the uber pricey Lego Death Star. He knows the importance of setting a goal, doing your very best and persevering. He asked us, if he is able to raise the full $90,000, can we buy him the Death Star? He couldn't have been more excited when we surprised him with the set. We'll keep you posted via Facebook on his progress. Thank you so much for your extreme generosity over the past 7 years and for again teaching us that despite the obstacles we encounter, our village is always here for us, even when we perceive the goal unobtainable. Jan 4-5th: Save the Date for a Buffalo Wild Wings Fundraiser
Buffalo Wild Wings will donate 15% of all food purchases on January 4 and 5th at the Frankfort Buffalo Wild Wings location (20596 S. LaGrange Rd.) to Eat. Pray. Dean when you have the attached certificate. Please share and invite your friends, family, troops, teams and clubs to participate and make lunch or dinner easy on these days! A huge thank you to Amy & Greg for working with BW3s to set this up and spread the word to kick off the 2018 fundraising year!
