Deathball Ogres are Coming Home!

They've been gone for ages, and at last I've got them ready for moulding this month.
Ogres are brutes to their core who thrive on inflicting violence and pain to lesser creatures. Frequently found working for criminal gangs or Dark Lords and Ladies as hired muscle or even in large cities as bouncers in particularly dodgy taverns, the sort a group of would-be adventurers might find themselves meeting in, Ogres are sought after thugs who will attempt to beat the living snot out of anything at all if there's suitable reward in the form of food, coins and of course, the fighting itself. In addition to the strength of twenty men and the ability to go into a berserk rage, they have superb healing abilities and can ignore quite severe wounds. This plus their lust for violence makes them ideal combatants for the Deathball tournaments held by certain Dark Lords, where a tyrant might test the power of his or her throne by pitting their best monsters and prisoners against an ally's own 'team' of scum and villainy in staged arena battles with arbitrary victory conditions. Such contests will last for days, with the rival Dark lords betting money, territory and magic items against each other's forces, plus of course, the increased Reputation from keeping a more fearsome dungeon than their opponent, raising their worth in the sights of the malevolent overlords that they have sold their souls to for the power that they have.

They will start shipping as soon as I have cast up 30 or so for the Kickstarter backers, so pre-order them now to be sure of getting yours as soon as possible. There are currently three sets of legs and two torsos , plus several heads and arms. Meatpie is back, too...

Meatpie, the Fat Ogre Thug is at last returning to the shop. He used to come in a dozen or more hefty metal pieces that took a lot of assembling and weighed as much as a small aircraft. In resin, he comes in two parts so assembly is as quick and painless as possible and you can hold him for ages without your arm getting tired! Meatpie, with his primitive caveman appearance, makes a brilliant Monster Encounter for a dungeon quest or hill cave encounter, and he's easy to paint, too!
