2017: A Year in Photos – Reefs to Rockies Travel News
As 2017 winds down, it’s time to reflect on the last 12 months. Our mission has always been to create itineraries that help clients reconnect with nature and discover a destination’s “wild” side. We’re passionate about wildlife, about conservation, and about sustainable tourism. We hope these images reflect that passion.
2017 In Photos: From a frigid bog in Minnesota (January) to swimming with sea lions in Mexico (December), these 20 photos highlight 2017.
Thanks for another wonderful and awe-inspiring year! We look forward to working with you in 2018.
Featured Trip:
Monarch Butterflies and Magical Cities with Butterfly Pavilion
Every winter, the cloud forests in the mountains of central Mexico play host to millions and millions of over-wintering monarch butterflies.
This aggregation of monarchs in Mexico’s central highlands remains one of the most impressive wildlife spectacles on the planet. When masses of butterflies are in flight, it sounds like rain falling and their cumulative weight can bend branches of oyamel firs.
In addition to visiting two butterfly sanctuaries in the state of Mexico, travelers will also visit vibrant Mexico City and colonial Valle de Bravo, one of Mexico’s “Magical Towns”.
All Reefs to Rockies' itineraries are personalized for our travelers.
We're happy to modify this sample itinerary, or any others, to best match what you're looking for in your travel experience.
