Dear Friends of Centering Prayer, 

Sitting in silent prayer with my local Centering Prayer group twice a week, I realize every week that we are holding each other up, supporting each other as we pray together. Participating in my two annual six-day silence and solitude retreats with three-plus hours of group silent prayer per day, the silence is palpable and the group support is felt by all.  Having both my group and my retreats nourishes my daily practice, giving me the spiritual encouragement to be steadfast.
 
Father Bill Sheehan introduced me to Centering Prayer in 2001. Soon I joined the Contemplative Outreach community, giving me access to a wealth of information and resources online, opportunities to take advantage of CO's readily available information, and realization that there are thousands of people praying daily all over the world.  I am never praying alone!  I began to know that my daily individual prayer practice is joined by thousands of other participants. I am praying with others, being held up and supported by others! My growing desire is to support this effort cultivated and sustained by Contemplative Outreach Ltd.
 
I remain dedicated to supporting financially the many resources Contemplative Outreach offers to the Centering Prayer community.  The website with its wealth of information, the abundant offering of online courses and retreats, the support it provides to the many Contemplative Outreach chapters worldwide -- all of this and more must be sustained.  The Contemplative Outreach community is blessed and I am blessed to be a part of it.
