Dear friend,

In the spirit of growth and change I'm shifting up my schedule for the new year. Check out the great offeringings starting in January or join me for a regular drop-in class. And don't forget to treat yourself to a private lesson once in a while; you DEFINITELY deserve it! Look for more in the upcoming newsletter to be released in late January. In the mean time live well and laugh often.

Dance with Fire: Unlock Creative Potential Through Yogic Practices and the Arts
 

The registration deadline is coming right up! Let me know if you are interested or have questions about this inspirational program. Each night is an opportunity to connect more deeply with yourself. Peel off layers of confusion, neglect and negativity. Say YES to a life that supports you every day!

This is the fourth offering of this exciting program. It came together in 2015 out of my desire to blend my creative life with my yoga practice. The journey has been amazing and I want to share it with you!

Have you ever wished for a little guidance getting through a creative block? Are you ready to reinvent yourself for the new year? Are you looking to find your creative voice? We'll go deep into body and mind to explore the unlimited potential of your creative voice. Not just for artists, this workshop is for anyone wanting to hear, feel and see their own creative potential. No previous experience required.

Week 1: Opening  What shape will you take? What does it mean to live a creative life? Releasing and letting go, flowing open with change.

Week 2: Fear  Step out of survival mode and begin to thrive. Move through creative blocks and step fully into your power.

Week 3: Know Thy Self  Get intimate with your edge and deepen your connection with what you need to thrive. What makes you come alive?

Week 4: Creativity and the Brain  Learn about connections between the creative process, yogic practices and how these activities heal mentally, physically and emotionally.

Week 5: Let it Flow  Step fully into your creative voice and explore the experience of your freedom through movement.

Week 6: Creating space  You are enough! Make a vow to your true self. Step fully into your personal evolution with clarity.

Join Monica for classes at two new locations

The first, a Gentle - Moderate, the other, Moderate - Vigorous. The intention of these classes is to advance your practice with a deeper commitment to yourself. Practicing self-love and compassion is at the heart of every class.
 
Both classes will start with a guided five minute meditation and end with five minutes of silent meditation. Asana in both classes will focus on upper body and core strengthening in addition to heat building standing poses to nourish and nurture joint health.

Try out the first class for $5 or pay $88 for 8 classes.
Payment with cash, check, credit card or Apple pay.

Gentle Moderate Yoga
Bethany Church, Montpelier, VT
Thursdays, 5:15-6:30 pm
Great for moderate beginners or those whom enjoy a slower practice. Standing poses are bookended with floor poses beginning and end. There will also be a focus on balance and poses with moderate complexity to offer practitioners an opportunity to challenge their limits in a safe, supportive environment. For those with at least six months of practice or more.

Moderate-Vigorous Yoga
Private residence, Worcester-Calais line, VT
Thursdays, 9:30-10:45 am
This class is designed to bring heat and vitality into the body while cultivating clear focus with full presence of mind. Enjoy experimenting with advanced poses including arm balances and inversions. Location is in a beautiful, private home about 20 minutes from downtown Montpelier. Some yoga experience is necessary.

Weekly Drop-in Class 

Gentle Flow:
Friday, 12:00-1:00 pm

Expand the edges of your practice with this gentle asana flow. By moving slowly with ease and grace you can fine-tune the individual qualities of your practice and enjoy a nurturing break from your day or a more vigorous physical practice. Creative sequencing, focus on the breath, proper alignment and conscious transitions combined with gentle cuing and just the right dose of theme-based encouragement guide the practitioner to delve into deep concentration, build self-awareness and nestle into the body without pressure.
All levels welcome.
