Dear friends and family,
 
The past year hasn't been easy for those of us who want healthy people and a thriving planet.  Yet there are some things to celebrate, particularly the heightened awareness of what is happening to our world, and how the challenges are bringing many of us closer together.
 
Transition Earth is focused on supporting the connections between population, health, environment, livelihoods and more, and this will continue into the coming year.  For us, 2017 was especially a year of connections – with people from Uganda to Oregon to Indonesia, and also with global and local alliances working on population growth, reproductive rights and planetary health.
 
Thank you for all of your support, given in so many ways.  This is the connection that counts, above all.  We’re all in this together, and we will only overcome our challenges together.
 
Here’s to making 2018 a year of lasting and positive change!
