2017 has been a relatively quiet year for changes to Windows 10 and the way in which people use their home computers. The average user I feel is grateful for a period of stability despite the never ending Windows Updates which always start when you have something urgent to do! These may seem annoying, but Microsoft is working hard behind the scenes to keep our computers safe from cyber attacks.
Increasingly computers which were Windows 7 before being updated are starting to slow down. This is due to the fact that these computers are now old - Windows 7 came out in 2009 which in technology terms is a long time ago. These can be cleaned up to run more quickly, but ultimately they will never again be speedy, so consider buying a new computer in the medium term.
