We are Almost There, but Time is Running Out
-- Help #FillThe15

We are excited to announce we are just short of our $15,000 goal in our #FillThe15 Campaign – but time is running out!

We only have just over a week until the December 31st deadline! Every dollar helps, and we hope you will consider a small donation!

Give the Gift of Girls’ Ice Hockey
Fifteen years ago WWFHA pledged to grow girls’ hockey in the northwest and give young female athletes the opportunity to learn to skate and play.

As we celebrate our 15th anniversary this year we are even more committed to making ice hockey at every level accessible to females in the community, regardless of their family’s economic means.

Help us reach our $15,000 goal by December 31st by filling the number 15 (#Fillthe15) with your donation.

Help us fund the four core areas that will benefit from your patronage:
  • Keeping WWFHA dues subsidized and administrative costs down
  • Funding financial aid packages for players needing assistance
  • Providing more training equipment for the teams
  • Reaching out to the community to interest more girls in playing hockey
Ways to Give to WWFHA via a Direct Donation:

PNAHA Washington State Female Development Camp Slated for January 20-21, 2018

All Washington female hockey players born in 2001, 2002, 2003, and 2004 are eligible to attend the PNAHA Washington State Female Development Camp at the Xfinity Community Rink in Everett, January 20-21, 2018.

WWFHA highly encourages all of-age Washington Wild players to participate, and all other players to watch the event so they can see the top players in the state skate together. Do not miss this once-a-year opportunity to be evaluated, and possibly be chosen to attend the USA Hockey Multi-District Camp in Colorado Springs, CO in June 9-13, 2018 -- a precursor to the USA Hockey National Camp.

Players improve and test their skills at the camp by playing with and against other female players from all over WA State in ADM skill sessions and scrimmages. Additional ice time, exposure to a broad pool of players and coaches, and the opportunity to compete at a higher level aid in players’ growth and development.  Whether or not a player moves on to subsequent USA Hockey camps, she will gain from this unique, fun and challenging hockey experience. Last year, eight Wild players were selected from the WA state camp to attend the Pacific District camp!
