Deirdre volunteers for Aunt Mary's Storybook , the core program of Companions Journeying Together, at Cook County Jail, the country's largest such facility. The program connects incarcerated parents and grandparents with their children through storytelling. And promotes literacy as a family activity on the outside. Please consider them when making any end of year gifts this week.
