We want to wish all of our ministry partners a very merry Christmas, and a richly blessed New Year!
As the end of the year is fast approaching, we reflect on all the things God has brought to past. The biggest thing that has happened this year of course, is finally being able to move to the place God has called us to minister - Slovenia! We have been here for about 4 months now, and thank God for all of you each and every day. Thank you for the sacrifices you make in your time and finances to make it possible for us to live and minister here.
Please do continue to pray for us, specifically for Aidan's residency permit, which we wrote you all about in our last newsletter. The issue has still not been resolved, and we have now been given a very short deadline (next Wednesday) to have a solution - a solution that is completely out of our hands.
As we asked previously, please do not post about any of this on a public forum (websites, our Facebook page or Instagram account), as this is all sensitive information. We are believing for a miracle, and know that God is in control. Thank you for standing with us in prayer in this matter!

Merry Christmas!/Vesel Božič!
Christmas here in Ljubljana, Slovenia's capital has been a magical time, and we are so thrilled to be spending our first Christmas here! Here, as in the States, it is a time for friends and family, which has given us a unique opportunity to reach out to those around us.

Church Friends
We've loved getting to know some of the families at our church better! We spent a wonderful evening with two of those families - the Šooš and Fartek families, eating traditional Slovene stew, called pastulj, and chatting for hours. Additionally, we were honored to host our Bible study's Christmas party this week! It was a terrific time, and we were so happy to serve the church here in Ljubljana in this capacity. We are also looking forward to enjoying Christmas Day lunch at the church with some of the other families we haven't gotten to know as well yet.

Thank You
Thank you again, so much for your continued prayers, and for encouraging us through emails, Christmas cards and on Facebook. We pray you all have a blessed and joyful Christmas season with your loved ones! Thank you for standing with us in reaching Slovenia with Jesus' message of hope!

Neighbors
We live in an apartment building, where it is very hard to organically meet your neighbors. So, we baked some American cookies, our language teacher helped us write a note introducing ourselves, and we set off to meet our neighbors! We met about 5 of them, all of who were surprised (it's not very Slovene to simply knock on your neighbor's door), but seemed genuinely touched, and very friendly! We were very excited to take that first step in making new friends, with whom we hope to establish long-lasting relationships!

For to us a child is born,
to us a son is given,
and the government will be on his shoulders.
And he will be called
Wonderful Counselor, Mighty God,
Everlasting Father, Prince of Peace
