Lent begins on Ash Wednesday, February 14th and will continue through Easter, April 1. As a church, we want to enter 40 days of fasting and worship during Lent. Over the next week, prayerfully consider what you might fast during this time. Also, as a church, we'll be interacting with God's Word through the CBR Reading plan. This year God has really opened some doors for us to Serve Roosevelt in new and exciting ways… One of the most urgent needs that the school has presented to us is “remodel/makeover” the staff lounge (which really needs some help!) The actual remodeling will be taking place as a surprise to the teachers during their spring break in March. Cost will be between $1k-3k. We’re going to try to raise this in February. There’s other ways to help and serve we’ll be bringing to you in the coming weeks.
Hey Ladies! We look forward to having a really awesome (first ever!) retreat filled with fun, worship, reflection time with each other and most importantly with God. This year the ladies retreat will be held April 13-15 at Murrieta Hot Springs. The registraton fee is $170 per person for our 2 Night Stay with 5 Meals included.
