On January 5, 2018, HUD published a 60-Day Federal Register Notice entitled Affirmatively Furthering Fair Housing: Extension of Deadline for Submission of Assessment of Fair Housing for Consolidated Plan Participants.

In response to this Notice, HUD has created a new Federal Register Notice section on the AFFH HUD Exchange webpage to provide information to local governments, public housing agencies, and States on how this Notice impacts their obligation to affirmatively further fair housing.
