The illustrated presentation BULLOCKS WILSHIRE: Wilshire Boulevard’s Glittering Art Deco Emporium of Dreams, by Margaret Leslie Davis, will be followed by the 1939 movie THE WOMEN, which features Norma Shearer, Joan Crawford, Rosalind Russell and Joan Fontaine in a scandalous tale of husband snatching, cat-fighting and Jungle Red nail polish, not to mention a Technicolor fashion show starring gowns by Adrian! Co-presented with the Art Deco Society of Los Angeles, the event will also include a presentation of authentic Adrian costumes, a Lego model of Bullock's Wilshire and a chance to meet illustrator Gregory Weir-Quiton who worked at the famous store in the last years of its life! Plus, get your nails painted Jungle Red!
