Prayer Vigil
Remember to take a moment and sign-up for the 72 hour Prayer Vigil. Prayer Vigil registration will close on Friday, January 12th, at 5:00 pm, so there is still some time to sign-up and commit to serving God and serving these young ladies! Right now we still need your help as volunteers to pray on the 72-Hour Prayer Vigil. Please go to our Prayer Vigil page on the SCC web site and signup ASAP to finish filling up the Prayer Wheel.
We currently still have about 20 one hour PRAYER SLOTS available. Help us cover this flight in prayer.
The weekend team and caterpillar rosters are available from our web site for download. Remember you will need to login to download (username: soncoast password: Luke2413 (use capital L)).
Agape
Anyone interested in serving in Agape during the upcoming Flight please contact Michelle Smith and Karen Metts. It is very important to know if you are planning on staying so all arrangements can be made.
The cost to serve on the flight for all youth volunteers and high-school students for the weekend is $45.00 or $15.00 a day. The cost for everyone else, older than 18 years old, is $45.00 a day or $130.00 for the weekend. This fee helps cover our cost for the center and meals. For all servants under 18 wishing to serve remember to download, complete, and sign the Chrysalis Permission Form.
FOR SPONSORS:
PLEASE BRING YOUR CATERPILLARS FAVORITE HOMEMADE BAKED FOODS (cookies, Rice Krispy treats, Chex mix, etc.) AND 2 LITERS OF THEIR FAVORITE DRINK. Please Mark “Caterpillar's Favorite Snack” (with a piece of paper taped on or use a post it). This helps Agape to be sure their favorite snack makes it out on the table. Please remember that snacks and drinks will be shared by all. Please do not mark names directly on packaging.
Cell Phones/Watches -- Sponsors please remember that caterpillars are not to have watches and cell phones with them for the weekend. These should be left at home. Please help us with this endeavor!
AGAPE FOOD DONATIONS! Please remember Homemade baked goods are always welcomed!
Send Off: Sponsors and Caterpillars arrive at the Salt & Light Christian Center at Topsail Island at 8:00 AM Saturday morning of the flight and settle the Caterpillar. The Sponsors will participate in Sponsor's Hour and Send Off in the Dining Hall after registration is completed.
Candlelight and Closing:
Both Candlelight and closing will be at Faith Harbor UMC in Surf City, NC.
Candlelight fellowship starts at 7:30pm on Sunday evening, and Closing begins at 5:00pm on Monday.
