Dear Marine Planning Stakeholder,
As a valued stakeholder the Marine Management Organisation (MMO) would like to invite you to participate in a voluntary survey to help us establish information about the use of the East Marine Plans. We request your participation by filling out a questionnaire available here by the 23rd February 2018.
Why are we carrying out this survey?
This survey is part of monitoring and reporting on marine planning in the East Marine Plan Area as set out in the Marine and Coastal Access Act (2009) Section 61.
The MMO’s monitoring activity, including information gathered through surveys, is used to inform a three-yearly report to parliament on the effects of policies in the marine plan, the effectiveness of those policies in securing plan objectives and the progress towards achieving any objectives set out for that region in a marine plan and the Marine Policy Statement.
Any publications containing information derived from this survey will be completely anonymous.
How long will it take?
The survey should take approximately 15 minutes to complete.
Why are we contacting you?
We are contacting you as someone who has registered an interest in marine planning in the past. However, should you wish to be removed from this mailing list so that you do not receive communications about marine planning from the MMO, please respond to this email with the word “REMOVE”.
If you do not consider you are the most appropriate individual within the department to complete this questionnaire, please pass this on to a relevant colleague who you believe might be interested in participating.
