We are proud to announce that we are offering a three-part “Lunch and Learn” Parkinson's disease educational series in West Louisville at the Portland Family Health Center starting noon - 1 p.m., Friday, Feb. 9.
This Lunch and Learn series, supported by a grant from the Parkinson's Foundation, is designed to help those with Parkinson’s disease and their families to better understand the signs and symptoms of the disease, as well as the most current treatment options available. The goal of this three-part series is to measure the impact education about Parkinson’s disease has on individuals. At the conclusion of the three-part series, attendees will be asked to fill out a brief questionnaire regarding their experience of the education offered and how it helped them better understand Parkinson’s disease.
