Mayor's message

Happy New Year and welcome to the first edition of our E-newsletter for 2018. This year looks like it will be another busy and interesting year for the Town.  The refurbishment of the interior of our Town Hall is nearing practical completion and we should be moving back in for business,  towards the end of February. The Town's Food Truck Trial commences on Thursday 1 February in John Tonkin Park - see the information below; and we have recently advertised for membership in our Public Art Panel. There is also the opportunity to have your say about the proposed Plastic Bag Ban in WA.  See the articles below for details.  I look forward to providing you with more news about what is happening in and at the Town during the year. Food Truck February 

The Town of East Fremantle is trialling Food Trucks in John Tonkin Park throughout February.  On Thursday nights from 6-9pm a range of food trucks and entertainment has been scheduled in the Park.  Click here to go to our Events and Activities page.  We hope that you will get behind this trial and enjoy what the Town has to offer. 

Apply Now - Public Art Panel Member

The Town of East Fremantle is seeking applications from interested people with relevant qualifications and expertise wishing to serve as a voluntary member of the Public Art Panel.The Panel will guide the Town of East Fremantle Public Art Strategy in accordance with associated policies, processes and procedures. Applications close  Wednesday 31 January 2018. For more click here

Plastic Bag Ban in WA - Have Your Say

Western Australians are being asked to provide input into the plastic bag ban which comes into effect on 1 July 2018.The Implementing a lightweight single-use plastic bag ban in Western Australia discussion paper is now open for public comment from 20 December 2017 until 9 March 2018.

East Fremantle Lions Club - Riverside Markets - every 3rd Sunday

The Lions Club of East Fremantle will hold monthly markets from 9:30am-2.00pm in Norm McKenzie Reserve every 3rd Sunday of the month.  For more information click here

 The Town of East Fremantle currently has available 8m, 10m and 12m pens for lease

The Town's website has a Contact Us Form to assist residents to provide feedback to the Town about a range of matters such as broken tree branches, missed bins, over hanging branches and graffiti.
