January 2018 Edition

One of Find Your Spark's values is kindness and therefore we LOVE Action for Happiness' kindness calendars, which started with their kindness advent calendar in December and now their Happy New Year Calendar for January 2018.  The idea is that every day you do something kind either for yourself or for someone else. To find out more on what Action for Happiness has to offer, visit their website www.actionforhappiness.org
Happy New Year!

We would like to wish all of our supporters a happy 2018 and hope that this year will be a peaceful, loving, abundant year for all!!!

We resolve this year to help double the amount of parents, professionals and young people we helped in 2017 through x2 trainings a month plus one to ones and we are also looking to introduce a BRAND NEW training programme in the Spring/Summer so stay tuned so that.

We have already been very busy helping professionals, parents and young people in Colchester and Tendring and we are only six days into the year!  We have lots of trainings coming up, one of which is next Monday, our Resilience training, which you will see below.

 January Update

Happy Birthday

Find Your Spark turned 3 in December so we decided to gift one of our places on our Mental Health Awareness trainings for parents on 29th Jan.  We are pleased to announce that Helen Smith is the lucky winner of this prize!  Please get in contact with us Helen to claim your prize!

There are still places available for this affordable, valuable training where you will learn all about the causes of mental health problems and what we can do to promote ours and our children's mental health so please get in touch to book your space NOW!

Blue Monday

Monday 15th January is Blue Monday, officially the most 'depressing' day of the year so in order to help prevent parents from feeling too 'depressed' on this day, we have arranged for our 'Resilience' training to boost spirits, give us a bit of perspective and make us feel a little bit more positive about everything.  Due to funding received from Colchester Borough Council, this course only costs £10 for low income parents. Our funding is due to run out shortly so if you haven't been on this training, book now before the price goes up! For further details of this and all our trainings, please view our trainings page and contact us here to book your space
