Shades Retreat: Personal, You is heading into what will be our ninth year with
eight successful retreats behind us. Below are two videos, one details why the retreat was started and the other shows our first two years in pictures.

Growth, Change, and Empowerment.

Shades is the embodiment of those words as we have grown from smaller retreat sites to our current home site at Indian Springs State Park. We have changed the way we present the retreat, offering workshops and spaces based on your feedback. Planting seeds of empowerment is what we do.

We've grown.

From a one room cabin that held us all to a full fledged retreat site with numerous cabins, open grounds, and a meditation center.

We've braved some storms.

Our first year a twister touched down near us and we just thought it was heavy rain. Sisters were bonding!
