Aquatic Center Closing - Take Action

Tell Abele: Budget Cuts Should be Equitable

Please call the County Executive's office at 414 278-4212 and tell him to find a more equitable way to balance the County budget. Then please sign our online petition to keep the pool open!
County Executive Abele is using his wheel tax feud with the County Board for service cuts INCLUDING CLOSING THE LINCOLN PARK POOL. This would leave thousands of families and children without access to swimming lessons and SAFE water recreation.

Even if you don't use the pool, the closing creates 20,000 situations where kids have to find something else to do.  Keep our kids off the street and in the pool!

Practice Good Outdoor Ethics in the Park

Have fun in the park this winter but please be considerate and practice "Leave-No-Trace" ethics in the park.  Lots of new areas are accessible in the winter and it can be tempting to build a log fort or fire ring in the woods.  But this kind of activity changes the wild character of the park as rusted chairs and junk get left behind.  So please, leave only footprints, pick up and carry out all trash and dog waste and RESPECT OUR PARK. THANKS!
