In the name of love

Ray and Nancy Banks had just finished breakfast when Ray started to feel weak. After 62 years of marriage, Nancy could tell something was wrong and knew that her husband needed help. Ray was admitted to the hospital, diagnosed with a stroke, successfully treated and sent home.

Then came the hard part.

I say yes

to participating in research because it adds variety to our lives and teaches us different ways to cope with the aftermath of a stroke.
– Ray and Nancy Banks, Abbotsford
