Events

The Raspberry Pi Foundation team is back at this year's Bett Show from 24–27 January. Find us at our pods in the STEAM village to discover all the latest exciting news from across the Foundation. Talk to us about starting a Code Club, subscribe to Hello World, and have your questions answered by Foundation members. We'll be speaking to educators about their training experiences and needs. If you're not coming, you can share your views with us here

We'll also be running drop-in sessions on the Saturday in the Post 16 Theatre — come by to get hands-on with our fun digital making projects, and take home our printed tutorials!

Allen Tsui

"Since Picademy in June 2016, it has been amazing working at Willow Brook Primary School Academy, which is part of the Griffin Schools Trust and an advocate of CAS #include. In August 2016, I took part in Raspberry Pi Foundation's Skycademy programme where I learned to launch a high-altitude balloon. My team's flight reached an altitude of over 31000 metres and recorded some amazing pictures! I am now planning a flight for March 2018, coinciding with the seventh anniversary of the Griffin Schools Trust, and its second Science Symposium."

"Willow Brook will also be collaborating with a company to teach children as young as six how computers are built, using the Raspberry Pi. This will be followed by a series of after-school coding workshops, culminating in a hacking session to build ancient, historic cityscapes in Minecraft."
