First up, Happy New Year!! I hope it's a happy and prosperous one for you. Now to business.
There are two planned RYA First Aid courses at PSC in the coming months - Saturday 17th February and Sunday 11th March, starting at 0900 in the classroom. Cost of the course is £10 to cover the cost of the materials, which is considerably less than can be obtained elsewhere. If you're interested in getting your name down on the list please email Peter directly on peterlytton@live.com.
The RYA is holding it's annual Sailabilty conference (http://www.rya.org.uk/programmes/rya-sailability/events/Pages/sailability-national-conference.aspx) also on 17th February at Wyboston Lakes - this year the conference is FREE and they will cover B&B costs too - it's very interesting to see what other groups offer and a great networking event!! If you're interested in going then please get in touch with me, DO NOT BOOK directly as we need to make sure we use the free places we are allocated correctly as we'd need to have a sailor with us too.
Next up, our annual lunch will take place on 16th March - more details closer to the time for that. Our first sailing session will be on 20th April and a setup session on 13th April which I'll remind you of closer to the date. I realise that's close to our start date but Easter falls early and I'll likely be away 30 March/6 April.
